Expectant parents should take the time to carefully research delivery options and have a clear understanding of the care that they will receive on delivery day. We’re certain that once you’ve reviewed the advanced maternity services listed below you’ll be confident that you’ve made the right decision in choosing the Center for Women & Infants.
Labor & Delivery

Comprised of 30 private rooms, this unit is the ideal place to begin life with your new baby. Located within this unit is our nursery, which is always available should you need to rest any time during your recovery.

We’re proud to offer the services of Dr. James Maher and the Maternal Fetal Medicine Center. Dr. Maher has over 25 years experience specializing in complex pregnancies and is dedicated to providing the highest level of prenatal care and testing available in our area.
Ronald McDonald Family Room
The Ronald McDonald Family Room acts as a home-away-from-home for immediate family members should baby require a longer than expected stay. To learn more about this service, call (432) 640-3090.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Our goal is to provide immediate response to virtually any neonatal emergency. This is why we’ve designated specially-trained neonatologists, registered nurses and therapists to staff our 30-room Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The CWI NICU is the regional referral center for neonatal consultation and care of high-risk newborns from throughout the Permian Basin.
All NICU rooms are private, which promotes better bonding between parents and baby. Private rooms can also improve development, healing and growth for our most fragile newborns. Visitation is allowed 24 hours a day for parents and grandparents who are encouraged to visit as often as possible.
